The melting temperature of PVC plastic sheet is a very important process parameter during processing. If this parameter is not appropriate, it will cause the problem of material decomposition. The flow characteristics of PVC plastic board are quite poor, and its process range is very narrow. In particular, PVC materials with large molecular weights are more difficult to process, so PVC materials with small molecular weights are usually used. The shrinkage rate of PVC is quite low, generally 0.2~0.6%. PP is polypropylene. PP has excellent chemical stability and is inert to most acids, alkalis, salts and oxidants. For example, it is stable in 100°C concentrated phosphoric acid, hydrochloric acid, 40% sulfuric acid and their salt solutions. Only a few strong oxidants such as fuming sulfuric acid can cause changes. PVC plastic panels are mostly plain-colored, but there are also imitation patterns and imitation marble patterns.
PVC plastic sheets often add stabilizers, lubricants, auxiliary processing agents, pigments, anti-impact agents and other additives in actual use. PVC plastic board has non-flammability, high strength, weather resistance and excellent geometric stability. PVC plastic board has strong resistance to oxidants, reducing agents and strong acids. However, it can be corroded by concentrated oxidizing acids such as concentrated sulfuric acid and concentrated nitric acid and is not suitable for contact with aromatic hydrocarbons and chlorinated hydrocarbons.
