Polycarbonate is an amorphous, transparent thermoplastic polymer, odorless, odorless, and non-toxic. It has a comprehensive and balanced mechanical, thermal and dielectric properties. It is an engineering plastic with excellent performance. Polycarbonate board has excellent mechanical properties, and its outstanding feature is high impact strength, which is among the best in the aspiring resin. The creep is small, the dimensional stability is good, and the mechanical strength can still be maintained at low temperatures. The disadvantage is that the fatigue strength is low, stress cracking is easy to occur, and the wear resistance is poor. Table 2-3-1 shows the mechanical properties of general-purpose polycarbonate.
